Mmmmm… I love a good slow flow!
Controlled transitions are the absolutely best way to increase strength, balance and flexibility yet so many yoga classes these days rush through poses and make it all about the cardio. Although there are some benefits to going faster, a juicy slow flow practice is an awesome way to tune into your body and really feel the muscles as they contract and release.
Although we move slowly and the poses are not necessarily difficult, this is not at all an easy class.
You’ll see that when you slow down your movements the challenge level goes way up as you need to use your core in a completely different way. Don’t be surprised if you struggle a bit in this practice, that’s perfectly normal!
This is a 30 minute practice that will give you a full body stretch.
