Every week I get emails from yoga teachers and other health & wellness professionals who want to start a youtube channel, which I think is awesome!
I will always encourage people to start youtube channels because it is a fantastic way to connect with people from all over the world! (If you’re a business, it’s also the best way to develop a digital brand!)
However, I think there are a lot of misconceptions about being on youtube.
Let me tell you, it’s not always easy and it DEFINITELY isn’t always glamorous, but it is worth it.
I was really nervous and feeling incredibly vulnerable about sharing this video because it is brutally honest and gives you all the inside scoop about how I run my channel. The good, the bad and the ugly.
Also, I cry at the end because I’m way too emotional for my own good. Sorry about that.
In other news,
The 7 Day {free} Yin Yoga Immersion program is still going strong and I am completely overwhelmed by the fantastic response it has gotten! Here’s what one student had to say:
I have a hard time describing what a transforming week I’ve been on following your 7 days of Yin Yoga.
[…]. I haven’t felt this centered, calm and aligned with my truth nor my body and self in YEAAAARS. Thanks for getting me back on the yoga mat – it had gotten so dusty and my joints so rusty. […]The yin yoga program made me realize that sometimes doing “less” gives you even more.
My love for yin yoga runs deep and I’m so pleased to know that you guys love it as much as I do!
If you know a friend, family member or colleague who could benefit from a little bit of mind body healing, why not send them the link and get them to join? They can sign up right here: http://bit.ly/yinimmersion
Thanks for watching, please remember to subscribe!

We all do it. We seem to carry the weight of the world on our shoulders. Always hiking them up towards our ears. And then add to that that we all end up rounding forward typing at our keyboards and phones (oops, caught myself doing it there too). Try these 7 yin poses...
Scorpio is a sign which taps into the psyche and intuition. Full of mysticism, magic and third eye connection. This yin practice is a great way to tap into yourself and do some shadow work, also associated with scorpio. The poses will connect to both the third eye and...
If you know me, you know I love animals, and supporting rescue efforts. The Sweet Sanctuary is a pig (and now many other animal) rescue near me. I have been supporting them for a while, and this is the second chance I have had to go and hang out there for a class....
